Liebe DGKK-Mitglieder,
anbei erhalten Sie Informationen zu bevorstehenden Veranstaltungen auf dem Gebiet der Kristallzüchtung:

  1. Das Treffen der Jungen DGKK findet in diesem Jahr (19./20.09.19) zusammen mit der Jungen DGK in Köln statt, siehe nachfolgende Informationen der Organisatoren:
    This year, the meeting of the young crystal growers will take place in Cologne from 19th to 20th September at the Mineralogy institute, together with young crystallographers (see the attached flyer).
    The main program of meeting will contain scientific talks, a lab tour, a social evening and a three minutes lightning talk session where each participant has to present a three minutes long presentation, which should be considered as short "appetizer" for your poster.     For registration, each person has to write a mini-abstract (max. 3 sentences) and to state if he/she is a member of the DGK or DGKK.
    The registration fee is 40 €. Payment instructions and further information will be provided to all participants in the near future.

  2. Freiberger Siliziumtage vom 06. bis 07.06.2019:
    Die Freiberger Siliziumtage finden im zweijährigen Rhythmus im Rahmen des BHT - Freiberger Universitätsforum an der TU Bergakademie Freiberg statt, welches dieses Jahr unter dem Motto „Sustainable Processes for Innovative Material Design“ steht.
    Seit Beginn der Tagungsreihe vor zwei Jahrzehnten stehen neueste Entwicklungen in der siliziumbasierten Photovoltaik, Photonik, Mikroelektronik und der chemisch-physikalischen Material-Prozessierung im Fokus der zweitägigen Vortragsveranstaltungen.
    Das Themenspektrum der Tagung umfasst die gesamte Wertschöpfungs- und Prozesskette von der Materialherstellung über Nanostrukturen und Bauelemente bis hin zum Recycling.
    Die Anmeldung für die Freiberg Silicon Days vom 06. bis 07.06.2019 an der TU Bergakademie Freiberg ist ab sofort auf unserer Webseite möglich.

  3. 8th German-French Workshop on Oxide, Dielectric, and Laser single crystals 2019 (WODIL) in Lyon (19./20.09.19) - Arbeitskreistreffen: Kristalle für Laser und Nichtlineare Optik:
    Dear colleagues,
    The on-line registration for WODIL2019 is now open!
    You are cordially invited to participate in the 8th German-French Workshop on Oxide, Dielectric, and Laser single crystals 2019 (WODIL), organized by CRISTECH CNRS network under the aegis of the French Committee of Crystal Growth (CFCC) and DGKK-AK (Oxidkristalle, Dielektrika und Laserkristalle), taking part on September 19th–20th, 2019 at the Institute of Light and Matter (ILM) – University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (UCBL1), Villeurbanne, France.
    This workshop brings together scientists and scholars from industry, research labs, and universities to present and discuss the recent advances in the field of oxide crystals, dielectric materials, laser and non-linear optical crystals, solid-state lasers, and related topics.
    Anyone interested in the workshop topic is cordially invited to participate and to present her or his interesting scientific results.
    We encourage you to provide an oral contribution (15 mins. plus 5 mins. for discussion) or a poster at the workshop.

  4. DGK – Sommerschule vom 22.-24. Juli in Mühlheim, nachfolgende Informationen der Organisatoren: DGK-AK20 Summer School “Synthesis and characterization of inorganic functional materials” at the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung, Mülheim an der Ruhr July 22 – 24, 2019
    The Summer School is intended for graduate students, PhD students, and young scientists active in solid state research (chemistry, physics), geo-sciences, crystallography, and materials science.
    Aim of the school is to give an overview on different methods for the synthesis and characterization of inorganic materials against the background of different application. The participants are encouraged to present their work as posters during the evening session on Monday. Individual problems will be discussed. The language of the school will be English.

    We have space for about 50 participants.
    Therefore, registration follows the principle “first come, first served”. Then we will send you the instructions for payment of the registration fee.
    Be prepared to transfer the registration fee to guarantee your registration and participation of the Summer School.
    Expenses for accommodation are not included.
    Participants are required to book their own hotel rooms.
