German Crystal Growth Conference (DKT 2026)

We would like to cordially invite you to the German Crystal Growth Conference (DKT) 2026, which will take place from March 4 to 6, 2026, in Karlsruhe, under the auspices of the German Society for Crystal Growth (DGKK). Karlsruhe Instiutte of Technology is “The Research University in the Helmholtz Association.” As one of the biggest science institutions in Europe, the only German University of Excellence with national large-scale research facilities combines a long university tradition with program-oriented top-level research. The KIT scientists have access to outstanding research infrastructures with unique experimental opportunities – from modern laboratory equipment to globally visible large-scale facilities.

Announcement (PDF)

The main topics of DKT 2026 will cover the scientific foundations of experimental, theoretical, and applied crystallization. This includes the production and characterization of bulk semiconductors, the epitaxy of III/V semiconductors, growth kinetics, and crystals for lasers and nonlinear optics. Industrial crystal growth will also be represented, as well as the crystal growth of materials for solid-state research.

We look forward to welcoming you to Karlsruhe and eagerly anticipate your contributions.
