German Crystal Growth Conference (DKT 2026)
14th Annual Meeting of the Young Crystal Growers (jDGKK)
We are pleased to invite you to our 14th annual meeting of the jDGKK, which takes place at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (in Campus Nord) prior to the DKT2026 conference.
The jDGKK is an initiative of young DGKK members, to promote networking among young scientists and engineers in the field of crystal growth, epitaxy, and material characterization. Also, the jDGKK promotes education and shows career options by inviting known experts from academia and industry.
Aim: Present your own research and improve your skills in scientific discussions
Meet peers from the most diverse fields of crystal growth and epitaxy!
Explore career possibilities in Industry and Academia!
Date: March 3th 2026, 8 am – 7 pm (08:00 – 19:00)
Venue: will be updated in due course
Costs: There is no seminar fee (free of charge). Travel cost and accomodation are to be paid by yourself, but travel allowance (financial support) is possible. For further information, please contact jugend@dgkk.de.
Registration: January 8th 2026 – February 11th 2026 - Therefore please download both the jDGKK conference registration form and the jDGKK conference abstract template for your scientific poster, fill them out and send them back via jugend@dgkk.de.
Prerequisite: To practice presenting and discussing your work, please prepare a scientific poster and a 5-minute „lightning talk“. Topic might be your current work or your latest thesis (Bachelor, Master, PhD, ...). Passive participation is only permitted in exceptional cases.
